About

Anabelle Stonehouse is a ceramic artist working between Naarm/Melbourne and Wadawurrung Country/Geelong and Surfcoast.
Anabelle is currently completing a Master of Fine Art at RMIT University. Her research into feminine form focuses on the conventions of the vessel, functionality, materiality, beauty and the abject.
Using hand building and throwing techniques, she explores feminist concepts with refined forms and decorative embellishments. She has participated in several group shows in Geelong and Melbourne, most recently she participated in two exhibitions for the Craft Victoria Craft Contemporary Festival.
